Unconscious Bias Training
What is this program?
Unconscious bias is the tendency of our brains to make quick judgments and assessments about people and situations based on our past experiences, cultural background, and societal norms.
These hidden biases can lead us to make assumptions and decisions that are not based on facts or merit, and can result in unintentional discrimination and inequality.
In this workshop, participants will learn about the concept of unconscious bias, how it affects decision-making and behaviours, and the impact it has on the workplace and society. Through interactive activities and discussions, participants will explore their own biases and learn strategies for identifying and addressing them.

One-day in-person session for up to 25 participants
This workshop is best delivered as a full-day, in-person session to maximise the impact of its experiential components and ensure effective content delivery. If you’re organisation is not able to commit to a full day, the program can be adapted into a 3-hour session, supplemented by a 20-minute pre-learning video. Participants must watch the video beforehand, as it introduces key concepts that will only be briefly referenced during the in-person session.
An optional follow-up session conducted online, held 3-5 months down the track, can be included in the training package. This extra session helps to embed learning, provide space for reflection, and answer questions that arise after the workshop.
